My name is Matt Bechtol, and I’m a wedding & portrait photographer based here in Chattanooga, TN.  I’m married to the love of my life, we have two sons, one daughter, and two dogs.  Our “smaller” dog is 85lbs, and our other dog is well, you can see the picture.  He’s big.

My journey into photography wasn’t something I planned until I was out of college, but it happened, and I’m really glad it did.  I get to meet so many fun people on a regular basis, I get to laugh a lot, most clients have become friends, and there’s nothing more satisfying than showing images to clients and seeing the joy in their reactions.

I’m a laid back guy who will often tell bad jokes to crack smiles, and I believe working with a professional photographer can and should be a fun experience.  Whether its getting ready for a wedding or parents playing with their kids in a park, if I can get clients to relax and show their personalities in front of the camera, the results are photographs they’ll cherish and be proud to share the rest of their lives.
